Lipno nad Vltavou has a new dominant feature, the breathtaking work by Milan Doubrava - the Janus Lamp. The 365cm high statue rises majestically near the Forest Kingdom. 

Janus did not become the model for the statue by accident. As the god of changes he reminds all visitors to Lipno of the changes the region has undergone in recent years. The lamp was also made as a thank-you to all who participated in the transformation of Lipno nad Vltavou in recent years.

The Janus Lamp is not just a statue representing changes or gratitude; by its erection Lipno has also gained its own pilgrimage site, because just like the whole of Lipno nad Vltavou, the pilgrimage site of Lipno must also be remarkable.
